Flip £200 - RiskySJ - 07-08-2024 Yo guys, I've been inactive as fuck. I'm down to my last penny right now i can't even lie. I got £200 to play with right now, tryna flip that to as much as I can. Any suggestions and help? Much appreciated. RE: Flip £200 - cbhooloo - 07-08-2024 (07-08-2024, 03:19 PM)RiskySJ Wrote: Yo guys, I've been inactive as fuck. It's about persuasion and manipulation to get people to do your bidding. Social engineer yourself a livelihood, then think again about making real money. But getting a job is easier said than done mostly in the current market. So for the time being, look for a job and do some simple SE's. Use an aged amazon account and just claim DNA on something of value that does not require an OTP and resell it on facebook marketplace.

Yeah "get a job" is such useless advice by itself, and is so often thrown out by privileged people who have never had to struggle in their life. 5-10 years ago it was possible to make some easy money on Upwork or similar gig-platforms, but even those are scalped to hell nowadays. I used to be able to get a $1000 gig just by sending a few emails out, but that was when I had a good network of leads and knew exactly what to sell. Now I could do the same, but it would take at least 2-3 months of building up a client base. Also - I never ever want to do the thing I did 10 years ago, so add 4-6 months to that for learning a new skill etc. I see tons of posts on social media about "making $40k/mo with copywriting and you can do it too" or some such bullshit. They always conveniently seem to forget to mention that you also need 20 years of sales experience and a university education in writing. In any case, the realistic strategy to a comfortable life remains: 1. Get a job that will pay your bills and keep you fed. (Starbucks, McDonalds, anything that will pay a basic hourly wage.) 2. Learn a valuable skill and build a portfolio. Marketing, coding, graphics, video editing etc you can learn in <6 months. 3. Get a better job. 4. Go back to step 2. While doing this, get free toys with SE skills. "Flipping" $200 when it's your last dime is a waste of time and money. It's just that desperate times don't need to result in reckless and unproductive measures. In my mind, desperate times call for hardcore money making tactics. If I was on my last $200, I would call all my friends and contacts from my previous awful career and get some work going to get at least a working bankroll to play with. I would hate it, but it would keep the lights on. That's desperate, but also highly productive. Putting $200 on red at the local casino may be an act of desperation, but it's also reckless and stupid. You're wasting it. Dunno where you're from but this often is sadly true. You're in the same boat as millions and millions of others. Just know that applying for jobs without a contact in the company is usually a waste of time. I haven't gotten a single job by cold applying. Sending out resumes, applying through job boards etc are pretty much bullshit. If you've volunteered and had some experience, you can come up with 5-10 people to message tomorrow and ask for job recommendations. If not, start connecting with interesting people in your area or in a field that interests you and do the same. If not, start working on a project or skill that interests you and then contact people. For example, video editing is easy to learn and it's a skill in constant high demand on Youtube etc. If you're a kid living in some shit town with nothing going on, just leave. Get yourself into a bigger city and start looking for work or a school. Just remember that every single business owner out there needs help. They may not be actively hiring, but work is everywhere. |
