Anyway, MEB should work out. There are chances you may be asked to file a PR. If you're happy to do one then you'll almost always get the refund although it takes weeks. However WIR may work too, if you study it properly Finally you could DNA it, but be prepared to be asked for a PR RE: Amazon UK | CPU Method - ikang2008 - 06-29-2024 (06-27-2024, 01:54 AM)Jhxxhdudjshd Wrote:How to get PR(06-27-2024, 12:16 AM)Jake7 Wrote: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-RyzenTM-5800X-Desktop-Processor/dp/B0815XFSGK/ RE: Amazon UK | CPU Method - talrodil - 06-30-2024 (06-27-2024, 01:54 AM)Jhxxhdudjshd Wrote: Whatever you do, you'll have to do a police report so be prepared. I'm sure everyone here would love to know how you can avoid police reports for expensive items. Search exists for a reason. But alright. The most common reason you'll have to file a PR is due to DNA. Why? Because it's likely the package has been stolen, ie there's a suspicion of theft. Price of the item technically has nothing to do with this, since PR is mostly for administrative purposes for the merchant. Although it's likely they'll just skip the administration if the item isn't worth much. Theft is theft. 10€ stolen is the same category of crime as 1000€ stolen. But administration will be different on different price items because it's not worth the time on a 10€ item. MEB, EB, WIR, SB doesn't necessarily mean a PR. Why? Because there's not necessarily a theft involved. For example WIR is a warehouse fault - no police involvement necessary. Regarding the third point, you can file all the PRs you want, it will not improve your chances of a successful SE. If an investigation requires you to do so, then yes, it is necessary for the investigation to move forward. But filing an unnecessary PR will not help if the investigation doesn't require it. |
