Here's a little fun story on my friends first SE before even knowing it was a thing. It was back in 2013 when gta 5 had just released. It was expensive and hard to get any ps cards outside of the US so creativity had to be used. around that time the ps3 modding scene was booming and people were paying for recovery services. there was a demand for modders to add money to gta accounts. I joined the groups that used to offer these services and would notice that people would easily give out their account information if you posed as a modder hosting a giveaway. once people would comment to enter you would directly message them and ask them which version they had to single out digital downloads. from there you basically just offer them "free mods" and act like you want to have them as a customer in the future by offering stupid discounts. It was effective and worked. all my friend did afterwards was change their password and hoped that they used a fake birthday/ didnt know how to use sony support.
