Our Legacy Camion Boots Return - raeman - 06-14-2024

Hi guys,

I SE'd a pair of expensive boots Our Legacy boots from END. I've been wearing them for 2 months now and the boots are starting to fall apart already. The leather is flaking and there are some noticeable scratches on the boots. The flaking is definitely not supposed to happen in 2 months. I want to resell them but they are not much worth with this kind of damage.

I'm planning on ordering a pair of boots on another website and returning these worn boots, saying that they arrived worn and damaged. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of SE? Does this have any chance of working?

Please let me know if you have any tips.

Thank you in advance.

If you were to buy the boots from a different retailer then your consumer rights would protect you for 6 months. You could, within that time, claim for damage using the ones from END. Saying they arrived faulty will be suspicious.

How did you do end?

RE: Our Legacy Camion Boots Return - raeman - 06-20-2024

SE on END was DNA with a 5+ year aged account. It was a real hassle because they sided with the delivery guy in the first place. It took over a month of emails and phone calls with the support reps, but they refunded the pair. Also tried SSENSE that month but they sided with the delivery guy and did not refund, unfortunately. Read afterward that they are not liable for lost shipment anyway. Farfetch also is not liable, so END with aged acc is your best bet for luxury fashion.

Yeah that kind of swap is not going to get accepted. You'd be better off ordering a legit pair from another retailer, selling them, and then claiming on warranty / quality a couple of months down the line. They replace and now you can sell the second pair.

tbh, I would just take the L on this rather than mess around.
