Avoid Rebills Help Please - Huncho - 05-28-2024

So I successfully got a refund for a return even though I purposely sent the wrong item ( I don't think they've checked it yet)  paid and refunded using revolut

If I paid using Card 1 and terminate Card 1, will they rebill my balance from the account. ( you can make multiple card's on 1 revolut account with different names)

Unless you've made a direct deposit contract, they only have your VCC on file. Which no longer exists. So you're all good.

That's the whole purpose of disposable cards - prevent retailers from making charges you haven't agreed to.

They have his information though they could invoice him or pursue him legally

Without knowing every detail of this case, or even retailers involved, there's no saying what will or will not happen. Question was about deleting a VCC, so best stick to that.

He is right though, using a VCC doesn't give 100% protection against rebills. It will stop the initial attempt but if they REALLY want to pursue it they still can.

I did many refunds with VCC and didn't have any rebills.
