E Buyer Paypal Claim - rveth - 02-17-2024

So ive done paypal claims etc before and refunded PC Components at around 21st December, i believe the reason the didnt respond to the claim is that the company was on break. i have experience in other stuff of refunding etc but i had thought of the idea of a paypal claim a while ago and gave it ago aroudn 21st Decenmber and it worked , 3k.

Anyways my problem arises here, I Have bought a macbook for 1.5k on Ebuyer on paypal 3-4 days ago. i had the plan to refund it via the paypal disputes / claims and escalating it so it takes 10 working days roughly but im unsure if it will work this time due to reading on the internet and seeing other stuff. just want to know how i should go about this and if theres a better full proof way of doing so, i know FTID method with invisible ink etc an all the other methods but just need some advice if i should just do paypal claim as if they dont respond to claims is the easier way or provide a police report with the claim.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated , thanks

Pp only ask for police reports if you say EB. I think for DNA claims they will deny you outright if the seller responds.

Make sure you do a SNAD claim. Say it was a different colour. Find a picture online, zoom in/rotate so pp can see its yours and not downloaded from online, and upload the picture when filing your SNAD claim.

That being said, EB works well on pp but only on aged accounts. Bonus points if the seller doesn't respond in 10 days. That way you won't need to FTID/file a police report.

Yes find a different macbook picture online, download it, zoom in/crop/change colour/brightness so it looks like it's your picture. Then file a snad and upload the picture as evidence.

Yes if there's no response you won't need to send anything back.

Disclaimer: You don't need to upload any picture. It's just there's been many, many people lately saying paypal aren't turning their disputes into claims.

Well done, I like people that know what they're doing. And just to clarify, you FTID through pp, and upload the tracking number to your pp claim.

Although I'm sure you know this. Good luck!
