Refund an eBike or electric scooter - Acdc - 02-14-2024
Hello,
I searched the site but couldn't find a solution to my project. I would like to know if anyone has ever managed to get a refund for an e-bike or e-scooter.
If you have any I'm very interested in merchant ideas or methods.

I went with no signature DNA, merchant opened a claim with UPS, delivery guy came to my door and asked about the item, and I just said it wasn't there anymore. UPS did investigation for 2 weeks and refunded the money to the merchant and then I got it from them. it's a bit tricky, almost nothing works beside DNA, so I kept my address clean from any DNA claim for 6 months (so no police report was requested), otherwise courier will refuse it. also if it fails then you have to pay for return shipping which costs a lot. should work with any merchant since it's the delivery company that pays in this case. the other option was buying from a retailers that offer shipping insurance themselves rather than the courier.
so if your address is clean and you can take the risk go for it, just know your backup plans

Thanks for the reply. And well done for the refund. I don't think I can do a DNA because I think the package will be delivered to a relay point.
