Airpods swap - novron99 - 02-05-2024
I have some old airpods 2gen with the wireless charging case. But the battery has deteriorated in the years.
I wanted to buy some off amazon and exchange only the airpods (not the case) and send them back. Chance of success?

Make sure to buy them from second hand amazon. Worked flawlessly for me.

Actually, if anything I would avoid buying amazon warehouse deals for this method.
Warehouse products are inspected before every sale and inspected for return, you got lucky,.

I'm not so sure. If anything happens, you can blame it on the previous customer who bought the item. It isn't credible that you found some fake AirPods inside a sealed box from the original manufacturer. But this is just my opinion.
