Is Semaglutide/Ozemempic Safe? - ShadowByte - 01-30-2024

To start what is a peptide, a peptide is a short chain of amino acids. They are naturally occurring in the body and are also found in many foods. Now the use of peptides has been used for decades, originating from the first peptide insulin in 1921, and this lifesaving peptide has been used to help treat diseases like diabetes.

Now the question still stands, is semiglutide safe? You might have seen floating around the internet of Semaglutide horror stories, or problems with it, and I will not deny this anecdotal evidence is true and is a side effect of taking this medication. But when used for its intended purpose which is to help type 2 diabetic patients lose weight and control their important biomarkers, the risk of having some GI pain and nausea greatly outweighs the risk of having problems that stem from being type 2 diabetic like cardiovascular diseases, nerve damage, kidney diseases, osteoporosis, etc…..and the list goes on. Again when prescribed by a doctor they balance the risks vs reward. And if putting a patient on Semaglutide or Ozempic is a better solution than having the patient themselves learn to diet, eat right, and have some self-control after many failed attempts, even when knowing they are continuously putting their life at risk, yes it’s worth the risk.

Now I see recently a lot of people, mostly women have been using ozempic to lose weight fast. And again, these women are not diabetic and just want to lose a few pounds. And these are the people that are having the most issues with it because realistically it’s not meant for them. They could have lost the same weight, no problem, with some patients first of all, and proper structure and self-control. One video that I saw that kinda really annoyed me was this whale of a woman who said she was on it and regained all the weight back and more after coming off of Ozempic. In my mind I thought this was a complete user error, she did not learn anything about eating properly, counting calories, or anything. She’s retarded for being able to lose all the weight and gain it all back and more. At one point she didn’t realize or notice that she was gaining the weight back or even notice the amount of food she was eating greatly increased. And it ticked me off tbh because here’s this miracle drug being prescribed to diabetics to save their lives and people come around spreading false information and anecdotal evidence because they used the drug wrong and they couldn’t sit down and scarf food down their mouths and lose weight. Also because of these people who want to lose this extra weight, it has skyrocketed the price of Semaglutide and has made it less available for actual patients who need it. As a medical professional my opinion is strong and whenever I see someone talk badly about something they don’t know about it ticks me off.

And if you’re a biohacker I’m assuming you know what your doing with these peptides. No negatives about them from me.
