Want to swap my old ps5 controller for the dual sense edge as I seen someone on here had success with Argos
Should I tell them I received the old controller, or do sealed box method? What sites don't check returns? Can't do Amazon

You could do either. Wrong Item Received is probably easiest, assuming you have the box for the PS5 controller.

No box just the controller, I was thinking of replacing the dualsense edge with my old one acting like I received someone's ''returned'' ps5 controller but I think this would only work if they don't check returns etc. etc.
Wouldn't ^^^ this technically also be WIR?

you could just take it back to Argos and claim what I did. got home, opened it and it had a Dualsense in it. don't be a dick about it and you should be fine.
they inspected mines when I took it back, but everything was OK

I hear you it's just that, my local Argos is renovating. Do you think it would work as an online return if I told them the same issue?
What do you think about Smyths Toys or another store or are you adamant on Argos as that worked for you?
