Twin Peaks is pretty unflappable. The Wire also gets mentioned a lot, although I think it is slightly overrated. If you are counting animation, then the Simpsons has an unbeatable run. I think the production values on Rome make it a valid candidate. The Sopranos is also an obvious choice, although I think it drags after the few few seasons and gets pretty tedious. Idk. I would say in recent memory Succession might be a new candidate. I would also argue that Andor is amazing and worthy of the claim.
