Nintendo Having Very Specific Wording - Ellsyian - 12-04-2023

I wanted to try and FTID Nintendo Repairs for a switch, got everything generated, but noticed this specific language:

This email confirms that your repair booking has been processed and does not mean that it has been accepted. Our acceptance of your repair booking will take place only when we have confirmed to you, by email, that your repair has been started.

This makes me think they'll tell me to fuck myself. Any advice?

Isn't this a warranty related issue?
Like: If you send in your device, and they conclude the damage is not included in the warranty (eg you dropped it). Then they will contact you to ask if they can continue with the repair (which you wil have to pay for). If not, they send back the item. So even if you send a device, it does not guarantee a repair. I guess that's what they're saying with that phrase.

I'm not 100% on this. But if they give you a label, it's their responsability.

Cheers. Nintendo is famously very litigious. Do you have any advice on how to hassle them when they "lose" my item?

I don't have any experience with Nintendo. But you wont need to hassle them if the item gets lost in transit while using their label if I understand you correctly.
