Need advice - InternetRockStar - 12-03-2023 I'm trying to se a monitor I'm wondering how I could make it seem like the panel is dead and it's not a power issue I have tried to express this already but they're not seeming to understand RE: Need advice - bunnyslippers - 12-03-2023 Monitor LEDs turn on but the screen doesn't. The monitor I plan to SE will be an OLED model. This way, the panel will appear off because OLED panels are extremely black and you will only be able to see the fake cracks. It will probably work on non-OLED monitors aswell, but you'd have to play around with brightness along with your room lighting. RE: Need advice - contriveD - 12-03-2023 What if they ask to return the broken item? RE: Need advice - JuanRaul123 - 12-03-2023 Why not just use a simpler method like WIR? RE: Need advice - Nyx - 12-03-2023 A patch of burn in if it's an OLED, or ~10 dead pixels if an LED should be relatively easy to Photoshop. Not exactly a dead panel, but is enough damage to usually fall under warranty. Very common issues from companies with even the best of QC policies as well. That's an entirely different situation, likely an EB. The OP is looking for ways to convince them that his monitor is defective and not a power issue. |
