Currys instore sealed box method - Jojo1980 - 12-02-2023 First time poster here, so please go easy on me. Does anyone have any experience with Currys instore returns. I'm thinking of purchasing the S23 Ultra, replacing it with an identical working clone (just in case they decide to open it in store) and replace the seal. Does anyone know if they open phone boxes that look sealed and new? Finally, cos I will be purchasing it with a cc they will most likely refund the cc is there a chance they might rebilk me after a few days if they randomly decide to spot check the item? Thanks in advance. RE: Currys instore sealed box method - Xx3003 - 12-02-2023 bump - wondering how this would be executed RE: Currys instore sealed box method - Jojo1980 - 12-02-2023 Bump - Anyone?? I was actually going to try and do the return 10mins before the store closes on a Friday, that way whoever is doing it will hopefully just be desperate to gp home and not be too curious about the return etc.. (Was a replacement iPad for a stack of printing paper they sent me instead of an iPad that happened to be the exact same weight : ) and Currys are known to be horrible, so would guess is a high chance they will check unless your lucky enough to get an employee who doesn’t care. 10 mins before closing may help and if your worried about rebill just use a disposable VCC, or cancel card Good luck |
