Apple Canada SE? - batmansbutler - 11-12-2023
Ordered an iPhone 15 pro max, got delivered last Friday by FedEx and had to sign for it.
Is it possible to SE it? I was thinking DNA, MEB, or warranty claim saying it came scratched for a replacement, but I don’t know how to box them.
Any input? Ty

You can try MEB, even if it seems too heavy.
If you have not SE'd Apple with the given credentials before, they will let you get away with it once, but you will have to sign a PR.
I can not tell you about other methods such as boxing as I have no experience with them.

Ah ok, what I’d be worried about is that I already made a PR for an Apple product that I bought on Amazon earlier this year, might be suspicious to my PD.

Update: I contacted them via support app on old iPhone, (talk to agent through imessage) and claimed MEB. Asked for a video of box, didnt investigate with delivery service but investigated with internal team and got refund confirmation a day later.

I’d imagine they’d block the imei of the iPhone wouldn’t they?

I turned it on and set it up without any apple id just to check it out and it doesnt seem blacklisted, still waiting for funds to confirm via affirm cause i purchased w/ the loan 😂

I read a couple posts of emails people got from Apple months after SE’ing, demanding the $ paid back.

How did you hit them?
In Canada apple seems really easy I saw some guy on here before who hit for an Apple watch like three or four times I haven't really seen any successes outside of Canada like that.

so you just sent a video of the inside of the box being empty?
