An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. While an IP address can provide some information, it has limitations regarding what it can reveal:

Geolocation: An IP address can often be used to estimate the geographical location of the device or network it's associated with. This information can include the city or region, but it is not precise enough to identify an exact physical address.

Internet Service Provider (ISP): An IP address can be used to determine the ISP that provides internet connectivity to the device. This can give you an idea of the general type of network the user is on.

Domain Name: Sometimes, an IP address can be reverse-looked up to find the associated domain name. This can provide information about the organization or entity that owns the IP address range.

Depends what you need from a VPN. Best bet is to go for a no logs VPN, especially the ones that have been audited
