Does AMAZON EU fall for fake item claim (or switch and send back) - CuriousBro - 10-12-2023

As in titile, will amazon EU fall for it?

It depends. I just switched an apple pencil bought from the warehouse section (so, previous customers have purchased that item and then return it) with a cheap one bought on Temu. I contacted the assistance saying it wasn’t connecting to the iPad and that I was also concerned since it didn’t have the apple logo. Then just returned it and got my money back.
I suggest to only do this with warehouse items since it was previously returned from someone else so Amazon has no clue if you’re scamming them or the previous customer who bought it.

Probably not.

There are conflicting views on Warehouse items being thoroughly checked.
In your case, I'm wondering if they allowed it mostly cuz it's quite a low price item.
Aged or fresh account?

Nowadays amazon has a deppartment dedicated to check return items.
I will say that the odds plays against your favor, but u can always try.
Keep in mind for low weight items u can always use the Empty-Box method.

So I wanted to do something similar but with the item from classic amazon (not warehouse) but sold&send by amazonEU, how good the odds are?

The lightest interesting item I was able to find is 15g without the box, is it okey? If I will order two of them (or another similar item) will the chances of success be lower? How to proceed to get best result?

I really wouldn't try it with classic Amazon. If the package is sealed there is no way the item inside is wrong.
In my case, since it was a returned item, someone else might have compromised the package.
They might refund you but it's risky, anyway if you do go for it feel free to keep us updated.

So maybe best scenario would be to take light item (I found one which is 15g itself, dont know about packaging) and claim MEB? Any idea how Amazon EU reacts to MEB?

Light Weight products (less than 100g ex: AirPods) typically tend to succeed with MEB on amazon.
Just say the package come empty, depending on ur region/account history/value of the product, they might as well ask for a PR.
In my experience they didn't ask for a PR on AirPods Pro.
