It's not exactly a private method, you're being lazy my man.

Item must be:
- lightweight (hence virtually no impact on package weight)
- not visible from outside (opaque enclosing packaging)
- "untraceable" (not overly unique, not customized & not with some kind of rfid tag an employee would scan when packing)

Also, research prior to SE, make sure the company you tryna hit has no CCTV in warehouse.

Is that an item missing from a closed box?

Like a pair of sunglasses? There's the shipping box, the product box, but not the product inside, right?

That's right. Package was delivered without damage, packaging was sealed, but the item, or part of it, is missing.

I doubt it lol. Insanely rare if they do.... I dont work in a manufacturing facility tho.

Back to the SE, I think it comes down to :
- the company being overall careless
- no CCTV in warehouse
- being bold, pushing reps hard
