Paypal claim/return questions - giacobmx - 09-19-2023 I read here that claiming Dna with paypal isn’t good because they look at tracking being delivered to you. So, does this should work good the other way around? If i return the original box with the same weight inside, the shop refuse to refund, if i open a paypal claim will the tracking ensure me a refund? Or if the seller responds to paypal showing that i sent back junk, they will refuse refund? This will work also sending back a empty envelope to seller, or smaller but weighted box? Or again, they will show to paypal what i returned or will crosscheck the weight dimensions with courier? And, how does paypal ract to empty box method instead?(with heavy items) If someone know how paypal works in these situations i’m happy to learn RE: Paypal claim/return questions - EdenSlate - 09-19-2023 Correct assumption, better odds involving Paypal at the return step than DNA (i.e. exploiting their weakness). Imagine the claim from PP's P.OV. They only have two verifiable data points : tracking showing delivered, & its weight. In order to prove you boxed them, store would need to provide an uncut video footage of the delivery process. From receiving the package from driver's hands, to unsealing it (if there was a seal in the first place) & emptying its content. Even then, I think there would be plausible deniability for you to argue the evidence was tampered. At this point, it would most likely be about pushing PP reps hard. A video of me putting the item in the box, sealing with tape, applying the label, could be a proof to keep and sumbmit to paypal in case i need it (of course i will empty again off-video ahah) I also read here of people that do this with a small envelope, but a bit more risky i think. I don’t find feedbacks for empty box here instead (heavy items) RE: Paypal claim/return questions - EdenSlate - 09-19-2023 (09-19-2023, 03:12 PM)giacobmx Wrote: A video of me putting the item in the box, sealing with tape, applying the label, could be a proof to keep and sumbmit to paypal in case i need it (of course i will empty again off-video ahah)That could be nice to emphasize you're acting in good faith, but probably unnecessary.
