Sony Camera 2500$ DNA AMAZON US SE - Beatslayer - 09-13-2023
Planning to DNA a Sony A7R III Camera 1500$ with 1000$ lens. Will claim DNA. Is there a better way or another store or Amazon is easier? I am assuming I will be asked for a police report which I have no problem filing online and submitting but what is the success rate for refund after PR? I have been using this Amazon account for the past 3 years and have a lot of orders like Books and small items and minimal refunds.
Also, if they deny my claim I am planning to order it through AMEX and do a dispute of transaction. Hope it doesn't come to it.
Any tips would be helpful.

Success rate in your case (strong acc) is pretty high, with a PR you only have to push until they bend.
Only point of failure I can imagine would be an OTP, or the driver photobombing you next to the package

Signature is not necessarily worrying : fake sign it, ideally make sure driver takes no picture... they have no way to prove you actually received it.
On the other hand, OTP would mean failure. That's what you should worry about.
They will let you know prior to delivery if one's needed : if so, better off refusing the package & trying again later.

If I sign it the guy sees my face. The past DNA I did was apple watch series 8 last year with bestbuy. UPS actually showed up at my door asking questions. I stopped responding to their knocks so they started calling me.
I did end up getting my refund but UPS was relentless

Hey Beats, I'd love to recieve an update on this. OTP will more than likely be required; the carrier would have to be a special kind of dumb to just drop off a package of that value without OTP. To add, I now have someone working -delivering for Amaz0n. I'm going to ask them what exactly happens and the procedure they take when someone claims DNA on OTP.
Was also thinking you could try WIR. As this has shown better results for high value items and I don't think your account would be flagged after. Get back to me on this, and I'll respond with answers.
