Amazon 550 GPU dna, eb or wrong item - singqwellen - 09-06-2023 First off, should I EB, wrong item or DNA 550$ GPU. I was thinking for a wrong item I could go the route of, "it looks like someone else already SE'd the item and I got the previously SE'd item", but that sounds cliche as fuck tbh. Its a 3-4 year old account with like 50 legit purchases and one EB already. Second, should I risk redeeming the Starfield code before the SE. (This is what I'm mostly concerned about) Just seeing some posts of people having to file PRs and I'd prefer to not do that. RE: Amazon 550 GPU dna, eb or wrong item - fasho1212 - 09-06-2023 You have two two options, Wrong item or DNA. EBing a gpu will fail due to the fact of how heavy it is, they will end up just cross checking the weight. From my understanding Wrong item has only triggered an investigation, not a PR. And through some searching on the forum, you will see that Wrong item method is fairly popular on Amazon as it has a high success rate. As far as DNA goes, anything over $500 can possibly trigger a PR. I ended up using EB (I didn't see this thread until now lol) since I didn't wanna reuse my previous methods on the same acc, but it worked. It took calling over 10 times, but nonetheless a success. I'm not sure if different shipping services, usps, fedex, ups, etc will affect how the weight issue goes over. Any tips on that would be nice tho. Its odd because once in a while I will see SE's where the item is way too heavy for EB, but yet still succeed. In terms of Mothered's forum you may have been lucky, its good that you kept pushing until you found a lazy rep who would rather not look deep into it. There could always be a case where the package itself was not labelled with the correct weight to begin with. Did they end up denying you at first? I know people who EB Nintendo Switch with aged accounts and don't have problems, but myself I didn't try something like this. If for someone else it works, doesn't mean it will work for you. |
