Euro SE'ers, is it harder for you? - TorUser827PlsNoBan - 09-01-2023 Title. American SE'er here. While I only really SE low value stuff I need like clothing i've had a 90% success rate with DNA to the point were I don't need to use other methods. It helps that I live in a cheap ass apartment/dorm for students and stuff gets stolen a lot so I'm sure legitimate DNA's go on all the time here. PR is not a problem because the police don't care and never look into anything. Goes the same way if someone steals something belonging to you or breaks into your place. They just take a report and toss the note in the bin. Is it this easy in Europe or do your police really try to stop crime? RE: Euro SE'ers, is it harder for you? - FortuneCookie4 - 09-01-2023 Mate Europe is made up of many countries. You've got to be specific. The attitude of the p0lice varies even from region to region. And with DNA you are talking about different courier companies that have different policies, approaches and drivers and then there is the specificity factor much like your student dorm situation. Generic question gets generic answer, if that is what you are after. RE: Euro SE'ers, is it harder for you? - Subterranean Homesick Alien - 09-01-2023 Yeah, Europe is more difficult because every country is its own story. The laws differs from countries to countries, and so do the companies behaviour. Consider it an added factor of unpredictability. RE: Euro SE'ers, is it harder for you? - Roadman - 09-01-2023 Compared to the American posts I've seen then yes I can say Europe is slightly harder. Although strangely some EU countries like Italy and The Netherlands I've noticed can be quite easy. But in general its harder than USA. Police in big cities are the same. But I still wouldn't recommend anyone filing police report after police report. RE: Euro SE'ers, is it harder for you? - squrry - 09-01-2023 In The Netherlands I think there's not many people SE'ing which makes companies give refunds easier. The issues is that there's not many postal couriers and big webshops.
