Sony XM4 Warranty claim Deny - Speezy207 - 08-28-2023

Claimed melted charging port for a pair of XM4s as they are known for that and they investigated the issue n just told me warranty doesnt cover external damage such as moisture in the port or fast charging cable usage.
Should I pursue this SE and push them or?

U told them about a melting charging point, how is their comeback about moisture in the port lol? has nothing to do with what u claimed. i'd say continue.

Said that there are many cases and they investigated the said products and everything was fine on their part, just that too much amperage was going in and it's customer fault.
I'll push them, what do i got to lose?

Complete bullshit. Push them.
Tell them you only ever used the usb C cable provided in the box.
Any modern device using usb C should also use USB PD (power delivery), meaning it should regulate the amount of power going inside. If that's a known issue then they probably messed up on the engineering part.
