So, I wanna do this method on webshops like Amazon etc. But I want to know if anyone know IF a webshop like Amazon checks the serial/imei noted on the back of the box... or don't they keep track of it?

Amazon 100% checks. I think its best to not use the sealed box method anymore.

It works most places for me. I think its amazon and apple that you have to be careful of.

When you are doing recon for the SB method your first question should be do they check sealed box returns. I can confirm 100% that Amazon and Apple both check them. To answer your question about serial numbers, yes most large retailers do keep track of them. You will even find them on the invoice sometimes but unless it's the manufacturer of the device then the chances of it being blacklisted are slim.

I never did it in person because I'm a pussy. I did find some posts on Reddit in which some Bestbuy staff said they always open the box even if they're the only one who does this in the entire store. So I think you should make a legitimate return first to see if they really do this.
