Turntable SE - impatient - 08-04-2023

Hi everyone!. 've made the decision to SE a high-quality turntable, which comes at a price of approximately £1,000. While researching, I found that the same item is also available on the Ebay account of a major UK-based seller I intend to hit. I'm seeking advice on the best approach to proceed in this situation. To ensure a smooth transaction with a backup plan, I will use PayPal too. However, I'm concerned about the heavyweight of the turntable and the potential difficulty in packaging it securely in case of boxing method. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you might have on this. Cheers.

Really need some advice peeps!

Anyone? I am willing to follow these steps:

1) Purchase the turntable via Ebay with a brand new account and credit card.
2) Open return and box the company.
3) Wait for Ebay's refund.
4) If this doesn't work, I'll open a dispute via PayPal.
5) If none of these options play out, I will most definitely file for a chargeback.

Thoughts?

It all seems a bit too tricky and full or risks; you're hitting a company on Ebay (which is difficult to SE), for a turntable (which seems to be a big item) that is expensive; You should reconsider the thing in my opinion and work on another plan

Okay, how should I approach it then?

That's basically all you can do when dealing with Ebay at that price.

What is the turntable manufacturer ? You could always try the SN method if you can get a hold of a serial number. Its basically zero risk.
