what is the exact pocess that takes place the moment where 'Amazon logistics employee' sees a return request of an item from a customer ?
if anyone who has a detailed explaination or a detailed source i would be very grateful .

I'm guessing he would know the weight and product category. I don't believe they would actually open the package though (mabye i'm wrong just an opinion).

Your question is a bit difficult to understand. Are you asking about the guy that checks your returned item in the warehouse, or the one that accepts your return request and gives you a label via email for it?

Your question is a bit difficult to understand. Are you asking about the guy that checks your returned item in the warehouse, or the one that accepts your return request and gives you a label via email for it?

I think he means the guy who comes to your home to collect returns. So courier pickup

after a little bit of digging i think i knew the answer , thanks for help though ! .. but for insight my question was simply related to amazon logistics themselfs without the external courier duo to the small distance between the customer and amazon warehouse .

reckless return employees don't check the returned item as long as they simply scan the label upon handing it over to them . but if they want to know the item nature they simply can check from their customised amazon app before knocking on your door .
