Backmarket EB Help - sully.muh - 07-31-2023
I got an iphone 13 pro max and have claimed EB
They asked for proof of id, bank details, proof of address and a police report which looked a bit extra however i done all of it.
I reported the theft online on the met police website (UK) and got a crime reference number. Backmarket just got back to me and said the police report is missing and apparently want a police report document which is scanned and signed?? How do i bypass this because i dont want to go to a police station and report this again

If you are just trying to get out of going to your local police station, you could say something on the lines of - 'I'm currently immobilised, I had suffered a tear to both knee tendons during a skiing accident' (first thing that popped into my mind). Highlight that the online police report is the only possibility for you currently and if they have any questions to wether the report is real, then they should contact the station directly.
