newegg - µsick - 12-10-2012

My SE a car thread was basically a joke. I just wanted to know what you guys would come up with.

But is there a way to SE newegg? Is it Similar to the amazon method?

RE: newegg - Miles - 12-15-2012

Yeah I think there is because the AstroProof receipt generator allows you to generate NewEgg receipts however I think it's just to use on the companies the product you want to SE is made by.

Back on topic I think the only way you could probably do this would be like Amazon, with a shipping claim.

For NewEgg, you usually just tell them that a certain part you ordered never arrived, and they give you a refund/replacement.

Wouldnt they ask for some kind of proof that you ordered the part?

Yes, and they would have it, since you actually did order it.

Ex. I buy all the parts to build a custom computer, and say the GPU never came. They will refund me for the price of the GPU, or send me a replacement.

So to SE newegg I would have to buy from them, then just claim I never got the item. And I would end up with 2 items. Is that correct?

Correct, or, you could ask for a refund and simply get some extra cash. If they ask for a tracking number, say you used DHL and that they didn't give you one.
