Urgent help with amz cm rebill - pxl_rip - 07-27-2023

Some time ago i refunded with DNA an object from amz. It was left from the carrier, no sign was requested and on the tracking was a different name than mine.
Now i've received an email stating that it was not returned and that they will rebill.
How can i avoid this?

Maybe contacting jeff is the solution?

In addition, i removed all the payment methods (except the one used to place the order). Could they rebill these?

Update 1: contacted through chat and told to return the item

Update 2: after contacting through phone they stated that the rebill is not sure and if it happen i have to recontact again, because as now they can't see any details or know when it will happen

Close your bank account before re bill happens

Why would they of been expecting a return if they approved the refund on DNA? Apologies if I’m being stupid but it doesn't make sense.

What did they say to you when you contacted them originally stating it dna?

Explain whole situation via email and forget about it. I had the same story. They did not nothing.

I blocked my card used as original payment method. And removed all other payment methods. Do you know if they can rebill also on removed payment methods?

I truly don't know... When I first contacted they refunded me because I said that I never received it.
I understood that they put motivation for DNA: delayed in transit. But I don't know anything more.

I've received it from an email that doesn't accept response. Did you explained to a different email? Or to the support?

For example cs-reply@Amazon.de

They can indeed charge you even if you removed the payment method, however will be enough to call the bank and block the payment coming from them in a way they won’t be able to charge you.
Moreover I would suggest you to explain the whole thing in an email to amazon ( in a way you also have written record of the whole thing), and after that everything should be fine. Just ask them what do they want you to return since you did not receive anything.

Thank you for your answer.

But I would like to know if they can rebill on other payment methods outside the original one used for the order.

Indeed after the email i removed all the payment methods (not the original payment method used for the order) and blocked the original payment method card used for the order.

They may charge you on another payment that was connected to the account at the time you bought the item. I am not sure about this though, but when i pay for my prime and don’t have enough money on one card they will automatically move to another one till one of them gives them the money, I am not sure it would work the aame way. Anyway mediation is the key here. If they acceptes the DNA, but wrote something else to approve the claim then it’s their dead-brain reps’ fault

It seems a bit unreal that they can charge any payment methods available at the time of the order... someone knows more information about this?
