DNA getting caught - 89128989198 - 07-26-2023
I did an DNA on ebuyer I called up customer service saying it was not delivered to my home and the image sent was not my door(the image was a door open with parcel in the delivery drivers hand no door-number you could some legs however it was covered by trousers) they tell me to send a pic of my actual door so I ended up taking a pic of backdoor and added my bin which has a door number on to make it more realistic.They ended up saying they are going to contact yodel to get the driver to receive the parcel back from the house(my house) .I'm kinda worried that the driver will come to my house asking for the parcel and getting caught . Not sure what I should do any advice would be useful.I did ask them what would happen if the parcel is not received they said that they got procedure for these type of things.

There is always a chance the driver will come back a lot of drivers these days work self-employed for these big companies and anything that is missing could be charged to them depending on the company's liability and insurance so it's in their best interests to hunt down the "Missing" parcel.

When do you think I should do should I carry on with the SE or say that I magically found the parcel and then return it?

Best thing to do is to ignore any yodel person that comes to your door. You don't have to open the door to anyone. Obviously this is a little harder if you live with parents or other people but ignoring the person is the best idea.

I can't lie it is not looking good they are now saying that they understand that I have advised that I have not recieved a parcel but after investigating with yodel that the parcel has been arrived to the correct with the scan marks in correct location and has been signed by me(it was not) at the front door and the delivery image macthes my door verified by google maps therefore we do not have enough evidence for a refund or replacement to be issued
I think this is a fail and I will just have to act like I just got the parcel by a neighbor and try to return the package.
Any advice or tips would be useful
I'm just gonna take this loss and return the parcel too much hassle

Prosper through the uncertainty! be adamant with your position and be clear that GPS does not indicate a delivery.. ask them for the proof of the signature, if you didn’t sign it then they have lied which is going to be a trip up for them already. In regards to the guy coming and knocking, like others have said, if you can just ignore them then that’s the best course of action, else, just tell them to take it up with Ebuyer.

I could't hack the pressure if I'm going to be real they know that I'm returning the item so I guess Ebuyer was a fail

no shame throwing in the towel. you need to know when to backoff to not get into trouble. DNA has the potential to turn real ugly especially when you are using your real credentials. they literally know where you live.

That is true it was getting pretty ugly however I did learn things throughout the way,it was my first big SE so I guess better luck next time
