Is this your door? (DNA) - Huncho - 07-26-2023

Photo showed parcel infront of my door (ROYAL MAIL)

Rep asking ''Is this your door?'' for the second time.

Am I meant to deny it's my door (house)

or Admit it's my door and just go along with how the parcel never arrived. I think they're trying to trip me up in a lie and I haven't SE'd for a while.

I couldnt find my previous post on this on mobile so just made a new one.

Well what did you say the first time they asked? Are there other doors similar where you live? You could always say yes it’s my door, but that doesn’t mean you received the item, since it was left outside.. something like this.

First time I acted dumb with them and said something like ''Hello I have seen the photo you provided but I still haven't recieved my order''

So I didn't give a yes or no, they asked again. Your answer seems better, I'll give it a go because just because the parcel arrived at my doorstep doesn't mean I recieved it.

Let me know how it goes.

If they're trying to trip you up it might be from a different angle not the one you're considering.

If you deny its your door maybe they'll pull out gps proof proving its been delivered there. Given youd have said it isn't your door, but they know it is, that sets you out as a liar from the get go. Youve purjured yourself with proof therefore making your word worthless.

As Mong500n said, just because it was left at your door doesn't mean you received it thats one of the merits of the DNA. YOU as the purchaser never received the item, and given it was left outside your door they will really struggle to prove that you received it.

Yes exactly, if they investigate and find that gps tracking proves it to be delivered to my doorstep, that would automatically fail the SE if I deny the door in the photo being mine

Now the question is, it’s obviously my door so why are they even asking? Is it just standard procedure to see if I’m liable for putting the wrong address?

GPS data and a picture showing your door only means the driver was there, doesn't mean he has given you the package.

Now they're asking to contact Royal Mail to ask about the parcel, should I just go along with it?
