Who provided the shipping label? Usually, if Garmin supplied it, they're liable for any loss/damage during transit. If this is the case, reiterate that to them and demand they investigate. If they didn't provide it, you could still be firm with them and hope for the best.

What were they hoping the outcome was of shipping a box of crap to Garmin?…

I read here that someone has succesful se with this method, the watch weight only 50-60g and its free to try, u only need s/n number

They didnt give any label, only adress to ship, maybe tell them that everything looks fine from carier company, can this work?

If you have to provide the label, its your responsibility if anything gets lost or damaged during shipment.

In my country PL, they don’t send return label. That’s why I don’t do SE with them.

Isn't 'boxing' sealing package with 2 different tapes to make it seem stolen by someone in transit. How would this be bad especially for a light-weight watch? I am trying to do something similar with an apple watch (they obviously have to provide a label though).

Pretty much they aren't liable for something you've shipped so you would have to deal with it personally. On the bright side you have learned something for your next attempt SE'ing (well your friend).

They give you an option to generate label for yourself, free of charge. I have yet to box them, so I don't know if they take liability for it.
