SE Phone - Jaccmcmcnn - 07-14-2023

I ordered a phone from apple and am trying to do eb, they have told me the investigation will take weeks, and that I will need to sign a stat dec, the only issue is that their return policy is only 15 days. So is it still possible to attempt this SE, and being able to return if it fails?

Too heavy to EB It.

Hopefully the weight will not be cross-checked.

Which company?

apple, heard of some recent success with eb. They have already cross-checked the weight, and are assuming that its theft, or me, hence the stat dec and pr

No, not yet, not sure I want to sign the stat dec if it might not even result in a refund.

If Apple is requesting a PR then forget it. They will not refund you even after the PR. This usually means your address have hit them before or apple id and have gotten a reimbursement already.

The quick investigation apples does is to find previous abuses. They never actually investigate with courier or open claims. Otherwise they will only go as far as ask for photos from you.

A stat dec per se Is not legally binding, so there's nothing to lose and everything to gain - should the SE work In your favour.

It's your call.
