Adidas US using EB and PEB - andrew1774 - 07-13-2023

Greetings! Any tips on getting refund without getting time waste investigation? I've ordered 5 pairs of slides 20$ each, 100$ total, arrived in single box, contacted with support with short sad story and told that box was empty with some paper inside and after that i got instant refund. But after that i made new order for 6 pairs of discount shoes for 21$ each, 130$ total order cost,unfortunately they were dispatched from different warehouses and came in 2 boxes (realized about too big amount of shoes in one order too late, 2 pairs in one box and 4 in another), contacted with support again with another sad story and said that one box with 2 pairs has came as intended but second was empty with paper inside, and support raised that to investigation team for 10 days. Now i am waiting in ignorance will they give me refund or not and wasting time. Any tips related to my mistakes? Would appreciate that much. Smile

Investigations for adidas are normal, just keep pesterin them via email or live chat.

Just wait a bit, investigations are part of the game, just be adamant and keep pushing them

Yea first days i was writing to them but they all as one talk to me like "Investigation is going so wait till 14 days"
But previous time they gave me instant refund and i can't get what did i do wrong..
My main suggestion is that i've ordered more than 5 items in 1 order cuz all guides that i saw there is "not more than 5 items per order", may be that was the thing which have provoked investigation.

Just reply that you will keep asking them daily if there is any news as you’re very concerned about this issue, because it never happened to you before and you’re afraid to lose your money, then keep pushing; just be adamant as @mothered says all the time

Of course not, every time every detail is different.

By the way at that first day when they started investigation i got message:

To follow up on our previous conversation, our team identifies that the warehouse that processes your order has an RFID scanner which ensures that all orders are completely packed before shipment
Please know that we cannot issue a refund right away and we need to conduct an investigation within 10 business days
Thank you again for reaching out to us, and apologies for the inconvenience.

Those tales about RFID scanner lol, previous order was with things with RFID label too but they gave instant refund xd

You cannot judge every claim on a single experience.

There are many factors that contribute to lengthy Investigations and assessments.

I've contacted them today again, first support said that we need to wait for results of investigation but i was whining in way like "i was told that it should ended yesterday as i was assured and how long again i should wait etc.", she answered me that i will get an email with update within few hrs and there was this:

In this case, since the package is already lost, I'm afraid that we are unable to replace the items due to the order was tagged as delivered. However, as a one-time courtesy, we will be refunded you back the full amount that you paid for this order. The refund will be cr3dited back to your original payment method and you will receive an update via e-mail. Usually, this will appear on your account within 3-5 business days, but please note that depending on your c4rd provider, you should allow up to a full billing cycle for your funds to be visible on your account.

I made a mistake in that order and delivery was splitted in two packages thus i was forced to try PEB, for now it's succeffully completed, unfortunately didn't refund whole amount of order price (70%) but got experience not to order different sizes and not to order too much shoes per one order.
