Amazon CPU SE Help - Discide - 07-11-2023

Could I order a BOX amd CPU and say that the CPU is missing but the Fan is there? (both items are in the same package)

If the cpu is not visible from outside, you should be fine to go.

It will require PR, no doubt about it. Doesn't matter if it's visible or not. I tell you from my experience. Had bought 5x CPU's recently from Amazon.de, 4x of them were Ryzen 7 5700x and one of them Ryzen 7 5800x. Only for two Ryzen 7 5700x I got refunds, their weight in the tracking was 150 g, claimed EB. The other two got a weight of 350 g and Ryzen 7 5800x got a weight of 200 g in the tracking. I tried claiming DNA on the R7 5800x, it was delivered with UPS but the delivered person name didn't match my account name, but still I didn't got a refund and PR was required.

As a social engineer yourself, you must be flexible and think laterally with every SE.

It's pretty simple - box the return.
