Jewelry, chocolate, or flowers tend to be universal. If she has hobbies, buy something she'll enjoy using. Being honest also works, you can ask her.

If possible, I always try to Make something myself. Dinner and a self drawn card or something. Usually accompanied by an experiences gift, like tickets to a music show etc. Doesnt even have to Be a favourite band because its an adventure.
