Amazon.de autorefund after first scan - ruonis55 - 07-05-2023

Hey, girls and boys. So there is such thing as auto refund for return after the item is scanned by the carrier and Amazon issues refund when the item is in transit. It only works for items that are around 300 euros mark. So I wonder if someone has any items in mind that would work for this thing. I tried on a motherboard 150 eur motherboard and it didn't work, have to wait 30 days. Could it be the specific item is flagged or the all the motherboards?

I'm also interested about the limits and restrictions of Amazon's refund on scan. However, I also believe that a big part of whether it's instant depends on the account.

Even if your account is very aged, you can't get a quick refund on Apple items, GPU's , CPU's. There alll flagged to be checked by the warehouse.

I am intriqued by this too. Last month I returned 2 separate packages from the same order to amz.de
package 1 = cheap electronic item 30€, legit return, waited about 2 weeks before refund was processed.
package 2 = 2x sporting items, 260€, ftid failed, AR upon scan

I couldn't work out the logic.

Maybe your FTID was not have done properly. They are quite strict on the FTID nowadays. A Lost In Transit would be better.

Yeah it was saved by the AR, we will see if they rebill in a week, as indicated in their warning email Wink

But the point here being the much more expensive stuff were refunded within 24hrs of scanning while the cheap electronic (not computer stuff, more like household appliances) wasn't.

Does that mean expensive non-electronical items aren't flagged for manual refund?

And with LIT, do you still get the refund from Amz or from the courier company?

I think Amazon just tracks which items are worth it for them to give a refund in transit and which not, of course it depends on the value of the item and etc things. My friend got some time ago a PR for trying to refund a 30 euro LEGO set, how crazy is that.

You get a refund from Amazon, carrier companies don't give you any refunds xD
