FTID HELP PLEASE - exodus1 - 07-04-2023
Hi there, I’m attempting a FTID refund but the post office aren’t accepting my label. here’s a bit of background:
I purchased an item weighing only roughly 30g and the parcel arrived with a weight of 500g (It came inside a gift box I’m guessing they rounded it up to this figure). I purchased a Royal Mail Special Delivery label as per the merchants request, and proceeded to edit the QR, address and the tracking info. For some reason when the worker is scanning the parcel, it’s saying the label doesn’t exist. I left the barcode completely untouched and only changed the QR code!! I’ve got no idea why it’s not working or if I’ve missed a step but can someone advise please?

The first suspect here is the edited QC code. Is that what they scanned? If so, that's the one you need to modify differently or left untouched.
If they were scanning the barcode which you had left untouched, some other information edited must've been needed for the system to recognized the label.
Apart from "label doesn't exist", what else did they say that might indicate they were searching for?
