I think it's time I switched to another language for web development (either Python or Lua). Discuss. RE: An interesting read for PHP developers - w00t - 01-02-2014 Not Lua, Lua is not a good language for web development. It wasn't intended for it. Professionals haven't liked PHP for a long time. It shares many of the same problems as Perl, which makes sense as it was initially a collection of Perl scripts. PHP, in my opinion, however, is a poor competitor against most other languages, but is a good entry-port for its simplicity. As a developer of malware I find it hilarious to fuck with people using the language itself. |
