DNA ASOS- won't let me order anymore - condor23 - 06-07-2023

hello guys, I start by saying that I have hit asos many times over the years always changing homes. Now I can't place any more orders they refuse me the payment and then they block my account. How can I fix it, I've tried everything. I changed address, name, card, used vpn.. nothing, the order is never successful, they notice it and block me. How can I fix. Where do they get it from?

Try it again and change everything even the computer you order from. Use completely new details that you have never used with asos before even if the transaction was refused.

it's the 7th account I'm creating, the only thing I can't change is the name and surname of the card. but I have also used other cards from other banks

Sounds like it might be IP flagged / Card Flagged / Address Flagged

The easiest way to bypass cancelations is the following :
1) New device never used to order on the website / phone or computer
2) Turn on your VPN BEFORE even typing on the website, if you do not do that it'll flag again
3) Check your Fraud Score online, type on google : fraud score ip lookup, if above 50, refresh VPN to get new IP. You want to be under 30 realistically.
4) Create account with : FRESH EMAIL, FRESH CARD *important, it has to be a brand new one never registered/attached on an ASOS account*, Fresh Address

For the address just jigg it, if you live on 123 ABC Street Apt 4, you now live on 4-123 ABC Street

When you pay with cards I believe the cardholder name is not strictly necessary. At least, that is the case for MasterCard and Visa. Furthermore, a new account doesn't guarantee that you are a new person for example, your IP address or MAC address can identify you.

Most likely they banned your IP, blocked your card and any linkage in cardholder details. Somehow big brands can identify the cardholder of a specific card. Even though, name of cardholder may not be required upon payment. Not sure if that’s the case with ASOS. Nonetheless, point is that companies can detect correlation in card’s registered address and billing address / delivery address. If they don’t match the systems flag the transaction and often times leads to order cancellations, etc.
Thus , VPN may not work (not sure if that’s the case with ASOS) But when ordering the app / website doesn’t allow you to purchase with a VPN because they need to know exactly in what country you live so they can delivery accordingly and obviously prevent fraudulent activities. This is the case with Nike, example.

What exactly do you experience at the time the payment Is declined?

In my experience the merchant accepts payment, however after few minutes, every X minutes a script is being ran on asos orders which checks all new orders, checks connections from past history to buyer's identifiers and decides whether it is suspicious(ban) or not.
Once suspicious order is found, the merchant reverts your payment, all within 30 minutes.

I believe this is also what OP is experiencing.
Asos stepped up their multiaccounting game.
