Google method ? - CrisZer0 - 05-30-2023

Hi everyone, this is my first post here.

I used to refund a lot a bunch of years ago (I did Amazon, Fitbit, Bose, Philips, Nike, Zalando)

I recently needed a new phone, so I'm thinking of ordering a pixel 7 pro + wireless stand + buds pro from Google.

My question is: what is the best way to go?

I'm thinking about a simple DNA or just do the phone saying the phone wasn't in the box.

What do you suggest? if it changes anything I'm in Italy.

Also, should I be concerned about Google taking note of the imei and flagging the device ?
Should I order from a different shop and if so, where? (I want to avoid Amazon as I did a lot of refunds and stopped because I received an email about the number of refunds I was doing)

As I said on your other post, Google doesn't seem to care about blocking IMEIs, but worst case scenario you can order the same phone on Amazon and return the blocked one, it's a legit operation that won't trigger any Amazon investigation of sorts (or use any other store)

Not sure DNA/EB will work, usually stories online about Google's shipping service is kinda shit, but then again they're all from the US so maybe it'll work better in Italy
Worst case scenario, you claim to have found the missing package and make a legit return if you don't want to pay for it

Thanks for answering, if DNA/EB won't work how would you do it if you couldn't use amazon?
I'd like to avoid FTID

Hello.

I had carried out MEB on Google when the pixel 7 pro came out. They offered me a replacement on the same chat I had contacted them on. I don't believe that they offer refunds.

After the replacement came, I sent it back and received my money back, a short period after. I'm using the pixel as my everyday phone with no issues.

Please be aware, that during the chat, you may be asked for images of the box and asked for signs of tempering - standard procedure.

Best of luck!

Thank you !

I'm planning on doing a DNA, if it doesn't go well I'll try MEB like you said.

You seem to confirm they don't lock imei, are you in Europe ?

That's correct, in the UK to be more precise.

I assume you just claim the box are NOT tampered or damaged, correct?

That's correct, you opened the initial packaging and to your disbelief, the phone box was empty. There was no signs of tempering. They will ask for pictures after the initial questioning - I simply just took the phone out and left everything else inside the box.

Good luck!
