amazon.de iPhone SE - kaj123 - 05-25-2023

hey guys,
I will be trying to refund iphone from amazon.de and this is my plan, when I get package I will buy screen protector for it and break it,than I am going to complain that it came in like that. They will probably request that I send them back package and I am going to try to bypass that by telling them that shipping company cant ship broken glass. Do you guys think this will work?

There's no need to complicate It.

Simply box the return.

Not always, they have to do everything fast and many of returns can just slip threw.

Boxing means you send them back an empty package that you manipulated in a way that it seems like the contents have been stolen during transit.
You do that by making a cut on the bottom side of the package and taping it with a different colored tape than you used for sealing the package itself.

Do note that this will only work either with light items with a maximum weight of 120g
or with the use of dry ice. You measure how much dry ice you need to match the item weight and calculate how much time it will take to turn into a gas.

With both approaches, the package seems like it's been opened in transit. Because of the matching weight from the beginning of the return process, the rep will greenlight your refund.
