IPhone 14 Pro Max Refund help - AbuAhmed911 - 05-10-2023

Hi all,
I've ordered an iPhone from amazon and I'm not sure which method is the most efficient and can avoid PR.

Based in the UK

PRs are fine, you can file it online.

I recommend ftid or telling them you received the apple iPhone box but there was no iPhone inside (MEB, Manufacturer empty box).

I have seen WIR (Wrong item received) method fail quite a lot lately so I don't recommend this, especially for an iPhone.

I've seen @mothered suggest that FTID isn't the best plus I'm pretty new to this (although I have refunded many things in the past)

Yes that's true, he isn't keen on it as it has a very 50-50 ratio chance of working.

However, his favourite WIR has been failing quite a few times recently, not only by members on here but other forums I am on.

How aged is your Amazon account?

If the FTID fails and they see the envelope that I send, would my account get deleted?

My amazon account is like 10 months old - 1 year max

They never used to, but as of recent I have seen amazon permanently ban accounts who have attempted ftid. But this is only for the ftids which weren't done correctly.

You can wait for another member to give his opinion, but I recommend MEB followed right behind by dna. For iPhones there's only a small amount of methods to choose from. If you find a reliable boxer then the 50-50 gamble of ftid is worth it in my opinion.

Could you elaborate on the " I recommend MEB followed right behind by dna" how does that work?

RE: IPhone 14 Pro Max Refund help - Roadman - 05-11-2023

Sorry for not being clear, I meant one method to choose from over the other in terms of the method I prefer. As in I prefer the MEB method as 1st choice, over dna being my 2nd choice.

To answer your first concern once again, PRs are fine and can be filed online.

Where has it been failing? Can you link something?
