So this is a new video that was released today, it is in German language, but you can see it with English subtitles if you select them threw auto translating. Long story short: he tells about the methods used to refund such things as iPads, iPhones, Macbooks and etc. As far as I watched it, the methods are FTID , Did Not Arrived , Empty Box , Lost In Transit. Also, they talk with an Amazon employee and asked about these things, he says they are under time pressure, to do everything fast are required to do certain amount of returns per day as I understand, that's why these things as FTID slip threw. An employee has to check 150 items per day , 20 an hour. They also show some telegram groups, the tutorials and etc. If someone is German and have something to add more then I did write, I would be very grateful.
So what do you think about these exposures of the methods and the whole refunding thing? I know that it's not something new and there were numerous news articles about different scenarios from refunders getting caught to sending dirt to Amazon. But this video is the most in depth thing that covers kind of everything, it was already watched by 100k viewers.

It’s crazy what people will do for a little spotlight or a little clout. That’s my take.
For now, refunds are going to continue because business has to happen and a successful business needs content consumers.
I think when AI is implemented more, things will become different.

i think it will have little impact to be honest, they are probably already aware of what people do & if anything people will probably see the clip and try it out for themselves lol. Still cringe that people do this for attention tho

It does not really matter as FTID is already all over the internet. However, making a documentary on it has just opened up the possibility of killing refunding faster as more people will get into it.

Just got this shit in my recommended on youtube and instantly went to check here after if someone already posted about this. I think it is just sad what people will do for attention. I don't understand how some guys can be so dumb to share this type of information and ruin it for everybody.

As far as I understand, that guy wanted to warn other young people and the consequences if you get caught for doing these things, of course it's mainly for LIT, FTID, because it's mail fraud

As a German refunder myself, I am really upset once I saw this video.
Hundreds of people in the comment section are saying thank you for the tutorial. I will do it myself now.
Whether they’re bullshitting or not. I think Videos like these, especially when they expose the methods so detailed, will have a huge impact on the refunding Szene.

Nevertheless he mentioned common methods and they even gave a full SE tutorial for chatting with reps. This is soo f*cked up

The refunding scene is not a new thing, it's happening for years, it depends how companies can deal with it. Amazon for example doesn't care that much, as the worker said, he is under time pressure and has to do everything fast and reach the day target of returns that he has to check. This video is German, I don't that it will reach a bigger audience than the Germans themselves or if someone shares it among non Germans, then yeah, but not all people are that smart and knows how to use the information given to them.
