Ebay SE - Boxing - dapperabroad - 05-07-2023 Turns out my eBay refunder is using FTID. Fuck that I’m not paying 250 quid for that. Can someone check my procedure here for boxing: Open up iphone box (take off + attempt to put back on normal manufacturer labels, use knife to slice through the seller sticker) Take iPhone out. Leave other components inside, fill with dry ice. Print label as normal. Put iPhone box with dry ice into padded envelope. Seal + open + apply masking tape to reseal. Place inside one of those seal bags for posting. (Now 2 layers). Stick labels onto outer layer. Drop off. Success? Any suggestions on how I could alter this if I’m doing it wrong? Thanks RE: Ebay SE - Boxing - Ziguiiz - 05-07-2023 i believe ftid ebay is patched RE: Ebay SE - Boxing - dapperabroad - 05-07-2023 (05-07-2023, 02:38 PM)Ziguiiz Wrote: i believe ftid ebay is patchedYeah I’m not using FTID, using boxing. @mothered what do you think? RE: Ebay SE - Boxing - dapperabroad - 05-08-2023 I could theoretically do either, if I make a mess of removing and re applying the stickers I’ll use boxing. If not, sealed box return. I managed to find out that I shouldn’t be putting it into another bag. Can I re-tape the sticky part of the envelope so it looks like it was opened and re sealed there instead of the bottom? I’d be afraid DHL wouldn’t take it due to it ‘not being fit for transit’ or some shit. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it. ps. Just successfully SE’d another item using MEB. I won’t say what item but it’s one of the classics, so thanks for the guidance on that too! |
