Potentially useful info for LEGO DNA - Robbinhoodd - 05-06-2023
To summarize from a previous post, I claimed DNA on LEGO and they denied my request, and told me to contact my bank.
I already had an appeal, and it is being appealed again. I am waiting for their response. However, based on their phrasing on my phone conversation I learned a few things:
- Not all DNA claims go through "review" sometimes the refund is instantly processed.
- LEGO considers US$300 a "large" order.
- Lego looks at order history during review.
- Review is done by a back-office team, the CS rep would not have any knowledge of the reasons for their conclusion. They will tell you that nothing can be done, but the reality is that you can speak to a manager and an appeal could be submitted, but the reps do not want to go above and beyond to help.
- LEGO has a limited number of reps, probably less than 15, so if you call enough times you will find yourself speaking to the same person.
