Se follow-up question - mammta21 - 04-26-2023

After a SGhut SE, using DNA, was successfully refunded. But now it's been 2/3 days that courier ups keeps calling(i don't answer) and left voicemail saying that they're calling about this case and they just want to know if everything went ok with the delivery and to call them. Is it ok to just ignore it? @mothered

Why are they hassling you?

They can simply contact the company and get the Information within a minute.

Correct.

@mothered yeah I don't know why either. But anyway in last voicemail they said that if won't get back to them they'll set the package status as "delivered" and notify the sender. Now my refund was already processed by SGhut. I should be fine, right? And in case of rebill i can just contact SGhut again, or dispute with bank, right?

Recently, UPS has been closing carrier investigations as "delivery confirmed/unable to contact recipient" when I ignore the phone calls/don't respond to the notes they leave if they visit the address.
This used to never happen - if I ignored the attempts at contact, the claim would still eventually be approved.

If you've already received the refund, it would seem that you're probably fine - and in the unlikely case that they rebill, contact them again, ask them to reopen the investigation and inform them you never heard from UPS and that it isn't your job to correspond with the carrier, etc. and worst case scenario, dispute the charge and provide your bank with the refund approval you initially received.
Just figured I'd mention my recent experiences with UPS, since I'm seeing a change.
