Trying to SE Zalando ITALY, What's the best way?? - timotyyyy - 04-18-2023

Ordered 17 items (jeans, shoes, tshirts etc) for a total of 5kg, all of that in 1 package. Zalando offers a prepaid label and i was thinking
of FTID but not sure how successful would it be

What would be the best way to SE now?

Suggestions would be very helpful. @mothered i beg your knowledge

FTID has been patched on zalando since the beginning of this year, they won't give a refund if they don't find the returned product in stock. You have to aim for a different method.

yea received it early on this morning, courier has the habit of leaving packages at family's shop. I didn't sign it personally.
Signature was required

So the package was purely left at the shop without anyone signing for It?

it was needed and a family member did it.

Im thinking about partially empty box it, would it work even if they have cctv in place?
When opening the box, i did it from the upside down in order to have the possibility of
making a video in case signature was required and some creativity was needed.

I could make a video of me unboxing the box as it seemed a bit lighter upon receiving it, stated on the label: 5446gr
I'v already selected 4-5 items i could just mark as received and put everything inside the box.

would this work?
In case it would be possible to fake video it.
Should i seal the backside with some matching tape? as if someone opened it and stole the items while in transit?
Package sealing uses standard tape which indicates poor anti-theft measures, that could help out with the authenticity of the story.

on a side note, my account is in good standing with zalando plus and legit orders and legit returns

Nobody is gonna ask your for a video an unboxing, in fact only someone who's up to no good would film themselves opening a bag of clothes
Claim PEB with 1-2 item on a total of 4-5 and it might just work

I thought of it being wierd for someone to film themselves opening up a bag, but that would be suitable because i felt the weight was inappropriate?

Also total of items was 17 and im planning on sending back 1/3 of it due to wrong sizes (aprox 6-7 items worth 300€)
@mothered what do you think i should be doing rn?

Sending back has no influence on the success, as that will be done after you've been refunded for the items that did not arrive

story telling:

Hello i just received the package, as i was pickin it up it felt lighter then i expected but i accepted it as i never encoutered any issues with zalando so far..
Upon opening it up i realized some items were missing, i'v no idea how that happened as the box seems 1) in perfect conditions 2) the sealing tape seems tampered at the bottom.
1)Missing items are 2 shoes , 1 jeans, 1 bracelet etc
2) Missing items are 2 shoes (box is inside the package but empty) , 1 jeans , 1 bracelet etc..

i put 1) 2) scenarios to change story
what do u think about this, could it work? also considering they have cctv in place
