Video proof of disposal. How to bypass it? - jefff - 04-10-2023 Hello guys, I recently tried to hit an online store that sells electronics. I've come to the point where they ask me to send proof of disposal of the item in the form of a video. "Please send us a video of cutting the cord on your charging case and submerging the earbuds in water." Does anyone know how to get around this? I have no idea where to find such a video. Should I use the corrupted file method? Thanks in advance! RE: Video proof of disposal. How to bypass it? - bunnyslippers - 04-10-2023 If you own the devices in question, you could take the L on the charging case, and submerge the earbuds in distilled water (as this shouldn't damage the electronics). If you don't own the devices, you could use the corrupted file method and be persistent. RE: Video proof of disposal. How to bypass it? - manderssanders - 04-10-2023 this is a lot of extra work but I've had insane success with it, get a nice set of screw drivers, look up said item disassembly (youtube), disassembly the item and scramble pieces all around the desk to hide the fact that the item is disassembled, take pic and put the item back together. This works great for harder companies in which you can buy the item, take it apart for RMA, then return it to wherever you bought it from. |
