SE Methods - Simplification - juano76x - 04-08-2023

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. In this thread we will have a thorough discussion about the appropriateness of SE methods on retail companies. Exactly, the discussion will involve when is the most appropriate time to use a specific method for a specific situation. So set the scene as an example and explain WHY that method will be ideal.
Since, l am not an experienced SE'er l need the help from those that are. Would be super valuable for the viewers and would highly appreciate any shared experiences. Thank you in advance!

Info: Just for some insight, l have only SE'ed Nike alone. Out of 11 / 10 have been successful. Methods used have only been EB and special seal package (return) SE methods. Interestingly have only used Nike live chat and banged EB with packages of up to 2kg.

I like to go in the following order, as the failure of one leaves the rest open:

1. Extremely light? EB
2. DNA, no need to flag my address and involve courier if I can EB.
3. Damaged/missing items, if DNA fails, I will just say it showed up a few days later.
4. Boxing/FTID, etc.

If your success rate is that high I am curious to know what info are you changing each time you order? Or maybe you have many legit orders on a single account?

Also not too sure what you mean by special seal package, could you elaborate, thanks.

Thanks for sharing your step guide bro. Though, am curious since you said that if failure of one method presents, you go in the descending order that you stated, but how do you do that. Since, agents have access to your previous chats. Or are they just lazy to check. Like it would be suspicious to claim EB and then claim DNA, if you said you RECEIVED the package empty? Also curious how do you do FTID, do you know how to do it yourself, or does someone you know do it for you?

Well... l have 10 Gmail accounts in each with only one order except two of those accounts. Into the specifics, l create each Gmail account with identity details difference which l screenshot or annotate in paper the details for, so l don't forget and be able to use it when creating a New Nike fresh account with those same details - Name, date of birth and password. With Nike you can only create up to five accounts with different gmails in one device. It would not allow you any more unless you only want to sign in with another account of yours in the same device, it will allow that. So l have three different devices myself + the ones from friends, so l make use of all to minimize suspicious detection of unusual behaviour on Nike's operating systems - l should probably stop using Face ID for all my accounts, hahaha. Anyways, when it comes to placing the order l have found it weird that 8 of those account use my same bank card but with different details including billing address, phone number and email addresses. Yet, Nike seems to be still able to verify those random details. However, lately l have had order cancellations, probably after my 10th order, since Nike is unable to verify the validity of those details - According to information l have gleaned from agents on live chat it is due to Nike's operating systems flagging the details of that user, when it doesn't match the identity details of their bank card used for order payment. Seems like they have reinforced their systems. To support the statement, l tried it in my mum's phone where she has no order history with Nike, just a very new & fresh account. l only changed made her a new email address and changed her surname to a different one, roughly 8 hours later she received a notification that stated the cancellation of the order due to incorrect details (indirectly stated by Nike.)
To also, clarify your enquiry. l have never purchased nothing from Nike with my own money except one time, probably 8-9 months back when l didn't know anything about SE. It was a pair of AJ1 low worth $100+. But yh, hopefully that answers your first question.

And, the answer to the second question. The method is called that way l saw it in a website that l accidently clicked on and showed all type of SE methods for free and well-articulated. But l can't remember on the top of my head what the name of the website was, sincerely. If l find it l would drop it here.
Though, what the method is entails essentially is to ask for a printable not scannable return label and return your package back to Nike in the conditions you received it in, so that way looks impeccable and can be placed back without checking inside the parcel, as the box is reusable again. On the inside of the parcel on your side the work happens. Essentially, you take out the Nike clothing and replace it with old clothing of yours or someone else's but put it inside nice and neat, inside the polyester bags provided with tags just in case if the worker checks inside the parcel it doesn't look too suspicious and thereby increase your chances. Ensure that when you return the parcel at least place 1 item of legit Nike's clothing (preferably two) on top of all the other clothing so that if the worker decides to check, it is the first thing they see. Following on, make sure you put the label that was provided for you on wherever Nike placed the shipping label stickers, so you cover it to show that it is a return and cover the details of the items the parcel is supposed to contain inside. That way it minimizes the curiosity of the worker checking inside. Ultimately, this method is very dependent on the third party that Nike uses in your country for handling returns, as they all vary in internal operations. But l have done it twice and has worked effectively. Only the second time they clocked that l only returned an outfit piece of what l ordered, l just contacted them about the cause later 3 days to enquire why l have only received a partial refund for what l returned, and l only provided proof of tracking ID of the return receipt and the money was credited back to my account within a day. Also, very important factor l almost missed, ensure that when you ship back the items the weight correlates exactly or approximately with the initial weight of the parcel when you received it.

Hopefully, it helps.

Some nice detective work you've done there. The name of the method you were referring to is known round here as "the sealed box method" or SB method and the "free and well-articulated" site you got it form is more than likely mothered's blog socialengineers.net which has recently been taken down.

Right, but can't it not be uploaded again? Like just the URL could be changed, maybe. Not sure how it works.
